Future Power

Many Laser compnies sell hand portable  lasers with X mW of power but how did they achieve it ?... in a lot of cases at your expense . Have they simply taken a Laser Pen Pointer with a 5mW diode and tweaked it to 15mW or a 10mW diode and tweaked it to 20mW . You have no way of telling unless you ask ... We tell you upfront ... WE DONT TWEAK OUR DIODES before delivery to you. You need to remember of course if the diode has been tweaked its operating at the edge of its abilities so the lifespan of the laser will be severely reduced , normally to a period of weeks or months especially if poorly tweaked. You get what you pay for here at MEGA GREEN Futurepower© . Also be aware of the infamous IR ( Infrared ) con trick ...thousands of people are unknowingly swindled out of real cash every day around the world. Its quite simple IR leakage from the diode provides a false reading from a power meter , so if a IR filter is not installed it provides a totally false reading ... IE/ it will provide a totlly false crzy reading like 240mW when its only producing 5mW of true green light - also 200mW of IR light is invisable so its  incredibly dangerous to the eyes.

You also need to know this .....

A common question i am asked is the difference between a 5mW , 10mW , 20mW , 35mw , 50mW etc and here''s my own personal opinion from having worked with and sold Green lasers for 8 years.

The best value for money green laser you can buy is 5mW , everything else is trade off between price , visibility of dot and visibility of BEAM and safety.

First lets deal with the dot , well from my experience and we have tried them all , a 5mW green laser dot will travel further than your eye can see , yes at night the dot travels miles ... so you really don''t need that extra power so send a dot further than you can already see anyway !

Regarding the BEAM , yes a 50mW beam will be thicker and brighter and more visible than a 5 mW but is it worth the extra cash ? ... well in my opinion errr no ! Sure its brighter and thicker but it still doesn''t look like some of the images that you see on the web , most of those are done by trickery anyway , long exposures , smoke in the room and you will even notice a lot of photos of lasers being used in kitchens .... strange eh ! why ? because fluorescent light fittings cause the green beam to show up brighter under digital cameras . So if you splash out a weeks wages buying a 50mW green laser , yes you will be impressed , yes it will be awesome , especially if you have never seen one before but YOU WONT see any beam in daylight and you still wont be able to see the beam like in some of the photos that float around the web

Our recommendation = buy a 5mW !
